As part of their official visit to Serbia, a delegation of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), the Institute of Crop Sciences (ICS) and the Institute of Vegetables and Flowers (IVF) together with their hosts - the director of the Institute for Science Application in Agriculture Dr. Rade Jovanović and the scientists from the Institute, visited the Center for Small Grains and Village Development in Kragujevac.
On this occasion, Deputy Mayor Dejan Ružić and Dr. Snežana Živanović Katic, member of the City Council for the Balanced and Sustainable Development of the Village and City, organized a reception which was also attended by Dr. Zorica Jestrović, Director of the Center for Small Grains and Rural Development, and Danka Andonovski, Head of the Mayor's Office. At the meeting, they discussed the establishment of cooperation with the Institute for Science Application in Agriculture in Kragujevac, since this Institute and the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences had signed a Memorandum of Understanding, which opens up opportunities for the exchange of experiences and other types of cooperation.
During their visit to Serbia, the delegation consisting of scientists and researchers from China will visit agricultural institutes in our country, the National Reference Laboratory - Gene Bank and other scientific institutions.
