The delegation of the State of Israel, led by Minister of Communications Dr. Shlomo Karhi, accompanied by H.E. ambassador Avivit Bar-Ilan, visited Kragujevac and the State Data Center today. On behalf of the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia, there were Assistant Ministers Filip Pavlović and Nikola Bićanin, while the City of Kragujevac was represented by Aleksandar Milošević, a member of the City Council for Investments and Project Management.
After presenting the possibilities and capacities of the State Data Center, which is unique in this part of Europe, the Minister of Communications of the State of Israel, Dr. Shlomo Karhi, thanked the RS Government and the City of Kragujevac for their hospitality, expressing his satisfaction for future cooperation.
In addition to presenting the capacities of the State Data Center, we also discussed with Minister Karhi about the future platform for artificial intelligence, as well as about the construction of the Innovation District as a new phase of expansion of the State Data Center, said Boban Mihailović, assistant director of the Office for Information Technologies and Electronic Administration who is in charge of the State Data Center.
Before the visit to the State Data Center, representatives of the delegations of the State of Israel and the City of Kragujevac visited the Museum “October the 21st” and laid flowers near the Monument to the shot students and teachers in Šumarice, and then near the Monument to the shot Serbs and Jews in Bagremar residential complex.
