Mayor of Kragujevac Nikola Dašić, together with Deputy Mayor Dejan Ružić and City Council Member for the Economy Radomir Erić, attended the official opening of the new sales and service centre of NIKOM AUTO and the presentation of the Dongfeng Group brands - Dongfeng, Forthing, DFSK, M-Hero and Voyah.
With the opening of the new centre, Kragujevac has gained another important business and commercial asset in the automotive sector, while NIKOM, a company that has been successfully operating on the domestic market for more than three decades, has further expanded its capacities and service offering.
Kragujevac holds a special place in the history of Serbia’s automotive industry, which is why every new investment that contributes to the development of this sector is particularly important to us, said Mayor Dašić. The arrival of the Dongfeng Group and the expansion of NIKOM AUTO’s operations confirm that our city is recognized as a favourable destination for business, development and investment. I am confident that this cooperation will bring new opportunities both for the economy and for everyone who values quality, reliability and modern technologies.
He emphasized that Kragujevac is a city with a strong industrial tradition, but also one firmly oriented toward the future, new technologies and modern forms of mobility.
The ceremony brought together representatives of the business sector, business partners and numerous guests. On that occasion, the brands of one of the world’s largest automotive groups were presented - a group whose development is based on advanced technologies, sustainable mobility, energy efficiency and innovation.
NIKOM has been operating for more than three decades, while NIKOM AUTO has been successfully building its position in the automotive market since 2012. The opening of the new sales and service centre marks a further step in the company’s development and strengthens its presence on the Serbian market through cooperation with one of the world’s leading automotive companies.
