After almost three years, the implementation of the Europe House project is getting underway in Kragujevac. The Europe House will be located on Branko Radičević Street, at the site known as “Staro Srce” or “Da Vinči”.
The City of Kragujevac has made the premises available to the Delegation of the European Union for the opening of the fifth Europe House in Serbia. The tender procedure for the works is underway and is expected to be completed by 2 October. The works are scheduled to begin in November, with a completion deadline of five months.
The Europe House will be a place where citizens will be able to learn about the opportunities offered to them by the European Union - from student exchanges, scholarships and education to programmes supporting the economy, funds and grants. It will also be a place for various cultural events, such as exhibitions, concerts and film screenings, said Danka Andonovski, Member of the City Council for International Cooperation and Local Self-Government.
She invited interested contractors from Kragujevac to submit their bids for the tender. The deadline for submitting requests for clarification of the tender documentation is 11 September, while the tender procedure will be completed on 2 October. The opening of the Europe House in Kragujevac is expected next year.
